Eco-Pods are for two people and have two Single beds that convert into a King Size Bed, bring your own bedding/sleeping bag or hire separately from us.
Eco-Pod Plus are for two people and have a standard double bed, bedding and towels pictured are included.

Terms & Conditions
The person making the booking is responsible for the conduct of all the individuals and visitors in their party.
Bookings are taken in advance and are only confirmed in conjunction with a valid debit/credit card. Invalid card details, or if we are not able to take a deposit/pre-authorisation at the times specified on your booking confirmation may result in your booking being cancelled.
Once a booking has been made and paid for cancellation may be subject to a charge, where applicable this will be shown at the time of booking and on your booking confirmation.
Cancellations must be made or confirmed in writing. Bookings made via an agent e.g Booking.com must also be cancelled via the same agent.
We will endeavour to accommodate any changes that you wish to make to your holiday once booked.
Should circumstances beyond our control force us to cancel your holiday then we will either offer you a full refund of any monies paid or make alternative arrangements for another time.
Bookings are accepted in the name of the person on the booking form and are not transferable.
Some periods, for example over weekends or Bank Holiday periods, may be subject to a minimum stay. This will be indicated in the on-line booking system.
York Holiday & Cycle Stop is a family-friendly facility primarily aimed at couples/families/small cyclist groups booking short stays in York. Bookings of larger or single sex groups may or may not be made at the manager’s discretion.
We reserve the right to decline or terminate the booking of any customers whose party’s behaviour may be or come to be a nuisance, danger or annoyance to others. In such instances no refunds will be offered. With this in mind our policy is not to accept large group bookings or bookings made for celebratory parties.
The proprietors are relieved of responsibility and financial liability in the event of any pod or accommodation facility, in good faith, not being available owing to circumstances beyond our control. In such an event the deposit and balance of booking already paid will be refunded and every effort will be made to find similar alternative accommodation.
We recommend that you take out some form of Travel Insurance of your own so that your trip can be insured.
York Cycle Stop is for holiday/recreational stays only. We do not provide accommodation for work purposes, nor for long stays.
The proprietors are relieved of responsibility and financial liability for any goods left behind after departure, although every effort will be made to forward any articles left subject to any reasonable charge.
When making a booking, please provide accurate information regarding the type of accommodation required and the occupants visiting, so that we can allocate a suitable pitch. If you have a particular pitch preference we will do our best but cannot guarantee your choice.
The information supplied on the booking form will be stored on our computer systems for administrative and marketing purposes only. This information will not be passed on to any third party without your prior consent. - From time to time we may contact you with news and special offers exclusive to our customers; if you do not wish to receive such information please let us know.
Frequently Asked Questions
What time does check-in open?
14:00 hrs – 18:00. If you would like to earlier and leave a vehicle or arrive later please let us know in advance. For arrivals after 18:00 we arrange self-check-in.
What time is check-out?
10:30. We ask for your cooperation so that we have time to prepare the pods for the next guests.
Can I check-in early or check-out late?
This is not something we currently offer though you can always arrive early and leave your car/belongings at York Holiday & Cycle Stop to then explore York, before returning to check-in later.
Do I have to prepay for my booking?
Payment terms and cancellation terms vary depending on where and how you book so check when booking or on the confirmation you received but payment will always be in advance rather than on arrival.
Can I get to you by Public Transport?
There is a bus service with a stop on the Stamford Bridge road on the edge of Holtby village and we are a ten minute walk away through the village.
What should we bring?
You may want to bring:

What arrangement are the beds?
The Eco-Pods all have two single beds that pull out and convert into a king size bed.The Eco-Pod Plus have a standard sized double bed.There is no room in the pods for additional beds, cots etc.
Can we bring children?
The pods are designed for two people, they do not have room to accommodate an extra bed or cot. The Eco-Pods do have King sized beds though so we are happy for couples to bring a single under five year old child with them so long as they are happy to share a king size bedThe Eco-Pod Plus is only suitable for a maximum of two people.
Are there cooking facilities?
Yes, we have communal cooking facilities in our amenity block. We also have an area that is a dedicated location for cooking with a BBQ or gas stove.
Can we BBQ?
Yes, we have dedicated area for BBQs, this is the only place we allow BBQ’s. It is important to keep such fire away from the pods. You can bring your own small BBQ and we sell disposable BBQs on site.

Is there a Noise Restriction/Lights Out policy?
Please be considerate of other guests. Keep noise low at all times, switch off music after 22:00 and keep noise to a minimum at all times.Respect the village location and keep disturbance to a minimum when coming or going from the site
